MANILA, Philippines - A day after the regional police director of Caraga was removed from his post, Philippine National Police chief Director General Nicanor Bartolome yesterday said a minor revamp is set to be carried out in the PNP in the coming days.
Bartolome said the reshuffle would affect at least 10 positions, including the directorial staff, national support units and some special staff.
He said the final list is now being finalized prior to be revamp, which he described as just a routine reshuffle following the retirement of some officers and the relief of Caraga police director Chief Superintendent Reynaldo Rafal.
Earlier, six police chiefs in the two Agusan provinces were removed from their posts after P16 million worth of hot logs were seized.
