MANILA, Philippines - The commander of the Tanay-based 2nd Infantry Division has been named officer-in-charge of the Armed Forces Southern Luzon Command (Solcom).
Maj. Gen. Eduardo del Rosario will serve as acting chief of Solcom until the successor of its outgoing commander Lt. Gen. Roland Detabali has been named.
Detabali retires from service today after more than 30 years of military service.
