BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – At least 18 people were injured, seven of them reportedly in critical condition, after the passenger jeep they were riding fell into a deep ravine in Mountain Province yesterday.
Reports said the vehicle, driven by one Ordy Paran, was on its way from Natonin to Paracelis town when it slipped off the mountain highway in Natonin town’s Umaleb-eb Poblacion at around 8:20 a.m.
The accident occurred only a month after 11 people died when a passenger jeep fell into a 150-meter ravine while navigating a steep portion of the road along Mountain Province’s capital town of Bontoc.
