LAGUNA ,Philippines – Two suspected robbers were killed in a clash with a rival gang in Barangay San Antonio in San Pedro town Sunday afternoon, police said yesterday.
Superintendent Kirby John Brion Kraft, San Pedro police chief, said Ronald Cabilangan, 22, and Bryan Arciaga, 27, both suffered multiple stab wounds. A companion of the victims, who is a minor, was wounded and rushed to the Amante Hospital.
Kraft said the victims’ attackers were identified as Johnson Salamero, 21, and a 17-year-old, reportedly members of a rival robbery gang.
A police report stated that the victims with a certain Alvin Sacapaño were having a drinking spree at a carinderia when the suspects attacked them at around 12:45 p.m.
