BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – The provincial government here plans to give at least P30,000 Christmas bonus to its employees.
Board member Efren Quiben said permanent and casual employees would get P30,000 each and P15,000 each for contractual and charged-to-project workers.
“This is not yet final, but based on our assessment, we can be able to give even bigger bonuses, depending on the amount of savings of the provincial government,” said Quiben, who is also the board’s appropriation committee chairman.
Last year, provincial government employees also received a P30,000 productivity enhancement incentive, on top of the other mandated yearend bonuses like the 13th month pay and cash gift.
