LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines - – The police chief of Castilla town in Sorsogon has placed under police custody a witness, who identified the suspect in the killing of a family of four in Barangay Pandan Monday evening.
Castilla police chief, Inspector Alfredo Nierva, said the witness tagged a farmer from Barangay Sugoy, who is about five feet and seven inches and has short, curly hair.
“We have already formed a tracker team to check his whereabouts,” Nierva told The STAR.
At least four members of a family – Corazon Marvilla, 60; Geraldine Ortiz Marvilla, 32, a public school teacher; and her children Annika, 5, and Joseph, 3 were hacked to death while sleeping.
