Lipa sanitation inspector nabbed in drug buy-bust

LIPA CITY City Mayor Vilma Santos-Recto was fuming mad yesterday after learning that a sanitation inspector was arrested in a drug buy-bust last July 21.
Chief Inspector Dante Novicio, chief of the anti-illegal drug task force, said Felix Mistas, 47, a sanitation inspector II, was nabbed after selling a gram of shabu to a police poseur-buyer in Villa de Lipa Subdivision in Barangay Maraouy.
The arresting team recovered the P500 marked money from Mistas, who was charged with drug possession in 2002 but was acquitted on a technicality.
