Reds raid Army patrol base; 2 dead

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga A government militiaman and a communist rebel were killed when the New Peoples Army (NPA) raided an Army patrol base in Lupao, Nueva Ecija Wednesday night, police said.
Killed in the firefight was militiaman George Campolo Jr. The slain rebel remained unidentified at press time.
The attack also left Pfc. Roy Fabros, of the Alpha Company of the Armys 71st Infantry Battalion, George Campolo Sr., Lito Campolo and Arnold Armirol, all militiamen, wounded. Ric Sapnu
