Twin blasts cut off power in Pagadian

ILIGAN CITY Two homemade bombs went off the other night at the compound of the Zamboanga del Sur Electric Cooperative in Barangay Iguma, Pa-gadian City, cutting off power in the entire city, the military said.
No one was reported injured in the blast that destroyed the electric cooperatives P7-million powerhouse, said Lt. Gen. Diomedio Villanueva, chief of the militarys Southern Command.
This developed as a cargo truck driver was wounded when a handgrenade exploded at a gasoline station here the other night, police said.
Police said the grenade was hidden under the hood of the cargo truck parked by its driver, Rolando Canoy, at a Caltex gasoline station in Barangay Tubid. Canoy was wounded in the leg.
