'Bitin': Maki teases more SB19’s Justin MV appearance
MANILA, Philippines — Fans can expect to see more of SB19 member Justin and singer-songwriter Maki onscreen, as the "Dilaw" hitmaker hinted at more screen time for Justin in his upcoming music video.
Maki's official music video for his latest single, "Habangbuhay Pansamantala," released on May 24, featured Justin, who only appeared in the last two minutes of the video, including the post-credit scene.
The singer's supporters, collectively known as the Zushis, speculate that the ending scene is a teaser for his upcoming music video, similar to his previous releases.
Maki himself confirmed these fan theories during the media con held on May 28. "Well if you know me as an artist, you would kung anong mangyayari. […] Kung gano'n 'yung nangyari sa mga dati kong music video, ganun din ang mangyayari."
He also shared his thoughts on Justin's limited screen time in the music video, saying it felt too short and left him wanting more, adding that even he felt somewhat "bitin" about the appearance.
"I don't think enough 'yung screentime ni Justin sa 'Habangbuhay Pansamantala,' 'yun lang masasabi ko. Kasi pati ako nabitin eh," the singer said.
Maki held the fan event "Pink Fest" at TriNoma on last Friday, May 29. The other fan event, "Pink Room," will be held at the Quezon Club in Solaire Resort North on June 5.
He is also bringing his "Kolorcoaster" Asia tour to The Theatre at Mediacorp in Singapore on June 13 and Bengkel Space in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 14.
