Rob Deniel covers Ogie Alcasid classic 'Ikaw Sana'
MANILA, Philippines — Original Pilipino Music (OPM) singer Rob Deniel surprised fans after releasing his own version of Ogie Alcasid's hit song "Ikaw Sana."
Rob recently sent waves across social media with his Wishclusive performance for an Ogie Alcasid tribute, where he stunned fans with a heartfelt mashup of the track and with another Ogie song "Nandito Ako."
While "Ikaw Sana" remains deeply rooted in Ogie's unmistakable legacy, Rob adds his own brand of tenderness and modern flair — proof that he's not just singing a cover, but truly making it his own.
Rob's "Ikaw Sana" also serves as a love letter to OPM's golden era and a nod to the artists like Ogie who paved the way.
The new release is bound to strike chords with both longtime fans of Ogie and today's young listeners discovering the song for the very first time.
Rob rose to fame in 2020 with his song "Ulap," signing with Viva Records later that year.
