162 modern jeep ng 25 transport coop, aprubado na - LTFRB
MANILA, Philippines — Inaprubahan na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang aplikasyon ng 25 transport cooperatives subsidy para sa pagbili ng modern jeepneys sa ilalim ng Public Transportation Modernization Program (PTMP).
Sinabi ni LTFRB Chairperson Vigor Mendoza II na ang pag apruba sa aplikasyon ay bahagi ng commitment ng pamahalaan na mapabuti ang public transportation system sa bansa. Ang naaprubahang aplikasyon ay mula sa northern parts ng Luzon hanggang Mindanao.
“Our commitment to fast track all the pending petitions is aimed at improving the quality of service in terms of public transportation in the country. The Filipino people deserve more good services and fast government response to ensure their welfare and comfort,” ayon kay Mendoza.
Ang inaprubahang aplikasyon ng 25 transport cooperatives ay sa ilalim ng Expanded Equity Subsidy ng pamahalaan para matulungan ang maliliit na operator ng sasakyan na magkaroon ng modern jeepneys.
