Manila, Philippines - At least 465 registered ambulant vendors would receive a P5,000 start-up capital under the micro-lending program of Marikina City Mayor Del de Guzman.
“We recognize the existence and needs of this particular sector (ambulant vendors) of our community whose primary source of income emanates from peddling commodities. Because of this, we have come up with this micro lending program designed to augment their capital for livelihood,” De Guzman said.
The City Market Office would process all the documents necessary for the release of the amount, which usually takes one to weeks.
