Limbo Bar & Art Gallery launch
Scene: Like the city’s best yuppies and moneyed bohemians decided to converge at some finance dude’s minimalist loft. The vino poured freely.

Sounds: DJs Funk Avy and Stolen Kisses
Heard from the Herd: “Look, it’s Maike Evers. She’s still pretty hot.”
“Can you stay here, please? That guy has been hitting on me since kanina pa and, uh, his breath stinks of white wine or something.”
F*ck art, let’s dance
Scene: The Manila Contemporary Gallery was itself installation art what with all the art freaks and fashion geeks milling about, being spectacles and all. Talk about organized chaos.
Sights: Julius Valledor’s interesting techno-audio art and an Archie Geotina-painted black longboard you wanted to grab for yourself and ride. Plus, the work of the likes of Shahani Gania, Jujiin Samonte, Otto Ferraren, Chris Yniguez, and Sharon Atillo.
Sounds: DJs were Gian Romano, Chie Castaneda, and The Diegos. Bands were BEE EYES, Taken by Cars, and Pedicab.
Heard from the Herd:
* “I don’t know exactly how I feel about Lady Gaga. At least I’m not as sure as how I feel about someone like Kris Aquino, which is strong.”
* “I was just telling ______ that I felt like I’d been thrown in a den of hipsters.”
* “At first glance, I thought there were vaginas on the wall. Wait, are those vaginas?”
