A creamier and more wicked Halloween

Just when you thought Halloween would be another round of the same old costume parties, Zed brought back one of the super clubs at the second Annual Cream Halloween Ball, aptly dubbed "More Wicked More Cream."

Though last year’s Cream Halloween Ball is nothing to sneeze at - a crowd of at least 2,000 partying in the midst of a Signal 3 typhoon - this year, Cream was definitely bigger, better and infinitely more wicked, delivering innovative, creative and popular music that it is known for.

Cream has moved from strength to strength since its start in Liverpool, England in 1992. It has grown from a club opening of 400 guests to a lifestyle brand that attracts thousands of loyal clubbers from the world over. Cream helped transform Liverpool City Center into a thriving cultural and economic area, a far cry from the desolate backwater Liverpool used to be. Now it is packed with restaurants, artists’ studios and cafes. Most of these enterprises acknowledge Cream as a major factor in their business. In fact a survey done shows that 70 percent of the student population choose to study in Liverpool just so that they could attend Cream.

Cream is not only recognized by the Liverpool economy, but by the music industry as well. It is the most awarded club in the UK, winning Club of the Year awards every year since 1996 and Muzik Magazine’s Best Event 2000 and 2001 for Creamfields, the largest dance party in the world.

More Wicked Cream had of three of the world’s best DJs playing to the crowd: UK’s Paul Bleasdale, USA’s DJ Courtney and our very own TC. Their playing was a new experience for the local club scene, featuring deeper and more adventurous music. This Halloween ball was also the first in the Philippines to feel the power of the most talked about sound system: Martin Audio, Wave Front Series. Martin Audio is used at the most cutting-edge dance clubs and played by the big name DJs.

Other brands present at More Wicked Cream include Killer Loop eyewear, Lucky Strike cigarettes, Sauza Zaz, MTV Philippines, Joey@92.3FM, 105.1 Crossover and Stage Craft International Inc.
