Aéropostale brings fashion bliss to Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Amid good music and youthful, trendy vibes, American megabrand Aéropostale and Stores Specialists Inc. recently launched its flagship store in Manila at the ground level of the new Glorietta 2.

Aéropostale has always represented a sense of adventure, achievement and dedication since it opened in 1987.  With Aéropostale, young and stylish teens can now stock up on high-quality and fashion-forward pieces at affordable prices.

The newly opened store evokes a vintage-feel with New York inspired artwork and vibrantly colored fixtures paired with dark wood giving the store a warm and inviting feeling. Divided into four unique zones, the store has Entry and Fashion rooms where customers can view the latest collection; a Swing room for different selection of jeans and denim pieces; a Heritage room for the logo classic and graphic tees and hoodies; and Girls room for a great selection of underwear, yoga and dorm items.

Hosted by MYX VJ Joyce Pring, guests were treated to a vibrant fashion show featuring the latest collection of Aéropostale, with live music from three of the local bands: Never the Strangers, She’s Only 16, and Up Dharma Down. The event ended with chic DJs Patty Tiu and Kat of Deuce Manila making the guests groove with their high-octane beats.

Aéropostale Manila’s style ambassadors, who were chosen from an impressive list of young achievers in different fields like sports, music, arts, and academics, walked the runway wearing the latest prints and brightest hues from the brand.  This list includes Ally Faustino, Dani Luna, Selina Dagdag, Camille Cumagun, Nina Villanueva, Arwin Villafuerte, David Mendoza, Luigi Bonoan and Reno Barretto.

Seen wearing their style choice from Aeropostale were Kiana Valenciano, Ella Pangilinan, sisters Krissy and Ericka Villongco, Emmanuelle Vera, Luigi Pumaren, Lorenzo Gonzales, Gretchen Ho and Michelle Gumabao.  Fashion bloggers Tricia Gosingtian, David Guison, Vern Enciso, Lissa Kahayon and Cheyser Pedregosa were also seen enjoying the party and the show.

In the Philippines, Aéropostale is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at the New Glorietta.
