MANILA, Philippines – Start your Christmas shopping early and support a worthy cause at the Casa y Jardin Bazaar to be held on Oct. 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the InterContinental Manila. The fund-raiser is organized by the Catholic Women’s Club (CWC), led by Estela Lopez as chair and Muchit Villasor as president, to help sustain its contribution to 65 charities, foremost of which is the Elsie Gaches Village in Muntinlupa City. On sale are jewelry, antiques, apparel, limited-edition plates by well-known Filipino artists and other artworks and home décor as well as copies of the coffee-table book “The Apostolic Visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines.”
