Art in the garden

Experience art up close in an informal and unrestrained setting at an exhibit of abstract public art pieces by multi-awarded nationalist sculptor Eduardo Castrillo at the Greenbelt 5 gardens.  Opening rites for the exhibit titled “Art Park Featuring Eduardo Castrillo” included activities for children and an online selfie photo competition with Castrillo’s art pieces. Prominent artists such as Juvenal Sanso and Ramon Orlina, collectors and art lovers Sofia Zobel-Elizalde, Kit Zobel, Raul and Joanne Francisco joined the monument maker at the opening reception. The ongoing Greenbelt Parks exhibit of Castrillo, known for his legacy of cultural heritage monuments like the People Power Monument on EDSA, will run until the end of September.
