MANILA, Philippines - Weekends are best spent with Jollibee. After weeks of meeting new friends and having fun while learning new things, Jollibee Kids Club (JKC) members ended their break with a bang when they graduated from the Jollibee Kid Scout program recently. The JKC members also enjoyed the JKC graduation with their loved ones. Jollibee Kid Scout graduates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are now back in school with new talents and skills.
“I wanted to involve my kids in new activities which are also worthwhile,” says Mommy Ailyn, whose four kids are all JKC members. “As Jollibee Kid Scouts, they are taught to be more sociable and confident when performing in front of many people.” The Jollibee Kid Scout program aims to develop well-rounded children by providing fun venues where they can develop their skills and talents and meet new friends. Under the program, kids also participate in performances and workshops with the guidance of professionals and engage in fun activities.
Eleven-year-old Adrian has been a Jollibee Kid Scout since he was seven years old. “I love to sing and dance, but I used to be shy especially when I have to do it in front of many people. When I became a Jollibee Kid Scout, I met new friends who also love to sing and dance and now I enjoy performing with them even in front of a big audience.”
In Metro Manila, Star City and SM Megamall hosted two of the Jollibee Kid Scout graduation events. The culminating activities highlighted the progress of the kid members who showcased their talents in dancing and singing. The entire Jollitown gang composed of Jollibee, Popo, Hetty, Twirlie, and Yum also gave an exciting performance to the delight of the kid participants. After participating in exciting games and activities, the young graduates took home goodie bags from partners Unilever Philippines, Universal Robina Corporation, and Robby Rabbit.
The Jollibee Kid Scout program is open to all members of Jollibee Kids Club, the biggest kids’ club in the country. To let their kids enjoy the many privileges of the club, parents can sign up their children for a JKC membership in select Jollibee branches. For inquiries, call 898-7777.
