MANILA, Philippines - Jeremy Wade, biologist and extreme angler, is back with more investigations into the murky world of fishermen’s tales in River Monsters 3. This season, Jeremy investigates stories and reports of frighteningly large and fearsome river monsters that have attacked and even killed humans. Along the way, he catches the most bizarre and deadly freshwater creatures to inhabit the earth, including a monster responsible for devouring certain male body parts in Papua New Guinea, and packs of eels that will rip the flesh from unfortunate swimmers. River Monsters 3 premieres on Discovery Channel every Tuesday at 10 p.m., starting this month. Encores on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 11 p.m.
