Men about town

When designer Boyet Fajardo introduced his men’s line last year, it has become a favorite among Filipino men who are looking to combine style and affordability without sacrificing quality in their wardrobe. And the designer has big plans for the Boyet Fajardo for Men line.

He believes that when it comes to fashion men and women look for basically the same thing. So Fajardo brought to his barongs, blazers and men’s suits the same fashion philosophy that made his women’s line a success. And he has been able to keep prices down, thanks to his network of suppliers in the Philippines and Asia. These are the same suppliers that he has relied on for his women’s collection.

“With the way the economy is these days, it’s important for people to be able to marry form and function with affordability in their clothes,” Fajardo says. “Thanks to my network of regional manufacturers and suppliers, I have been able to deliver the best options for my clients.”

This year he plans to build on his earlier success and expand the line to give men more fashion options. Men can expect a whole new range of styles, colors, cuts and fabric choices. Actor-turned-politician Dan Fernandez and broadcaster Aljo Bendijo are two of Fajardo’s endorsers.

The pieces in Boyet Fajardo’s latest collection are available at Robinsons Department Store branches, Landmark, and at soon-to-open stand-alone boutiques in leading malls.
