Search for Tang Galing Kid is extended

MANILA, Philippines - Kids by nature love experiencing new things and they absorb a huge amount of information like a sponge. No matter how small they are, they can think and dream big. And to a child, nothing is impossible; their imagination is the only limit. Even more, given today’s technology, it does not come as a surprise that the future generation’s dreams and aspirations are just a hug’s reach away.

One way of kindling their fervor is by giving them refreshing ideas on how to take part in everyday activities. It all starts with encouraging kids to contribute in day-to-day activities at home or in the community to help shape their characters. It may take training at first, but by showing them a good example and enticing them with an equally refreshing reward such as serving them the Fruitsarap goodness of Tang, kids will easily be on the right track.

A daily serving of Tang livens up any activity and may help stir kids’ imagination. With its Fruit Power 7 nutrients, Tang provides the right nutrition in a flavorful way, helping kids to stay alert and be active community members in their own delightful ways.

Tang believes that despite their age and innocence, the tiny tykes can bring a refreshing change in the community. And Tang is not the only one who believes this. This is evident from the large number of entries received from various organizations who want to recognize the little ones, who at an early age are making a big difference in their communities.

To allow organizations to nominate even more children, Tang is extending the Search for Tang Galing Kids.

The search is open to organizations whose members may nominate as many kids as they want. Only one child per organization member is allowed. Each kid corresponds to one entry. Each entry must have a one-pager story on the life of the kid and the small steps that the kid makes or has made which are inspiring and worth emulating.

An official nomination form may be mailed to 5thP Advertising at 55D Matahimik St., Teacher’s Village, West Diliman, Quezon City. Entries may also be sent via e-mail through tanggalingkids@gmail.com with the subject Tang Galing Nomination Form.

Deadline for submission of entries is on Jan. 13, 2012. Seven winners will be chosen as Tang Galing Kids. For inquiries, e-mail tanggalingkids@gmail.com or call 928-3388.

The Seven Tang Galing Kids will be announced in January 2012. Each will receive a cash prize which they can use to implement a project of their choice. The winning kids and their nominating organizations will each garner a P100,000 cash prize.
