Indian chefs cook up incredible feast for PAL's Mabuhay Miles

Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles, in partnership with Radisson Blu Hotel, recently hosted  an Indian culinary festival dubbed “Incredible India”  at the property’s Feria Restaurant.

Guests of honor Elizabeth Sy, SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. president; Ria Domingo, PAL SVP product loyalty marketing; and Joey de Guzman, VP-corporate communications, together with hotel general manager Grant Gaskin, did the ceremonial ribbon-cutting.

Prior to dinner, guests enjoyed lassi, the yogurt-based non-alcoholic beverage and appetizers such as samosas,  and momos dumplings.

Indian chefs Pramjeet Singh Bombra, Pradeep Kumar YadavSubash Yadav, and Ved Prakash from Radisson Hotel India prepared authentic dishes such as kebabs, pilau rice, chicken tikka masala,  and flavorful curries cooked in either vegetable, peanut or mustard oil. Lots of spices such as chili peppers, turmeric, cumin, ginger, coriander, and garlic were evident in most of the dishes.

The highlight of the affair was the raffling off of a roundtrip business-class ticket to New Delhi via PAL with accommodations at the Radisson Hotel. The lucky winner was  Henry Sia of China Bank.
