Rustan’s Heaven on the 5th gathered Italia-lovers who were dressed to the nines and ready for a celebration. Italian Ambassador Rubens Ana-Fedele spoke of the many wonders of Italy and invited everyone to experience it for themselves at the festival’s various activities. Senator Loren Legarda and Rustan Commercial Corporation president Zenaida Tantoco also imparted their love for Italy. Over hors d’ oeuvres and champagne, the din of good conversations filled the venue while Ramon San Agustin provided the nostalgic musical cushioning of Italian classics.
At The Gallerie, were the grand fashion show, dubbed as “Stile!” was held. Ushered by friendly harlequins, guests witnessed the latest collections from some of their favorite Italian fashion brands. Italia-love was definitely in the air as models sashayed in Salvatore Ferragamo, A/X Armani Exchange, Emilio Pucci and Ermenegildo Zegna, Fratelli Rossetti, Furla, Fendi, Tod’s and diamond jewelries from Bvlgari’s Parentesi Cocktail collection. Scents from Dolce & Gabbana, Santa Maria Novella, Acca Kappa, Gucci, Bvlgari, Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo and Versace filled the air.
Metrobank Card executives graced the event in full force with deputy cards head Peaches Cuenco, head of marketing Aileen Vallesteros, product acquisition manager Sansan Ty, AVP for usage and portfolio Mon Tioseco, usage and portfolio manager John Ko, and AVP for merchant acquiring Willie Javellana. Also witnessing the Italian Festival opening were wife of Italian Ambassador Cosetta Fedele, British Ambassador Peter Beckingham, former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban, and former Ambassador to Spain Isabel Caro Wilson.
