‘Touching the Sunlight’ at Met Museum
Children with disabilities and professional artists explore the therapeutic benefits of art making in “Touching the Sunlight” on view until Feb. 28 at the former library of Metropolitan Museum of Manila, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Complex, Roxas Blvd., Manila.
The exhibit features works of 10 budding children-artists whose disabilities range from cerebral palsy to mental retardation, autism, Down Syndrome, and Attention Deficit Disorder. They were mentored by Renato Habulan, Helen Mirasol, Fred Liongoren, and Thomas Daquioag.
