'Sharing makes you more beautiful'

MANILA, Philippines –  Bioessence, one of the leading skincare and wellness clinics in the country, once again proved that the main key to feeling good and looking good start with oneself. Last year, Bioessence initiated several community programs mainly focused on health and wellness, like its Christmas offering dubbed “Bioessence Kalusugang Handog Pamasko.” The event was a medical mission held at Barangay Lourdes, Northwest Tarlac.

“These community service programs that we are doing is something that really inspire me,” Dr. Emma Guerrero, CEO of Bioessence, shared. Apart from free check-ups, the residents of the said barangay were also given free medicines and vitamins. Pediatric and dental services were also made available during the medical mission, which according to Guerrero gathered more than a thousand of attendees. “We are very glad and thankful to those who extended their support making this medical mission a very successful one,” she added.

Dr. Rio Magpantay of Department of Health Region III sent out her doctors to participate in the medical mission aside from providing basic medicines. Barangay Captain Paul Puri, who actively assisted the team, also facilitated the “libreng gupit” activity that proved to be a very delightful experience for the attendees. “The people from Barangay Lourdes were so happy that after 21 years, an outreach program was held in their area. It is a fulfillment that our efforts are appreciated. We are aware that the people in the barangay cannot readily access medical services and this is our own little way of extending assistance to them,” Guerrero said.

More community service programs are lined-up for the year and all these are done with only one objective and that is to provide wellness to as many people as possible. “That’s what Bioessence is for,” Guerrero ended.
