Dynamic power couple Enrique and Flora Chua’s 50th wedding anniversary at the historic Goldenberg Mansion in Manila was a stunning celebration of love and Filipino culture.

The evening began with a spectacular toast to the 50 golden years of the couple, marked by an impressive champagne fountain.

Guests were wowed by a 10-piece collection from designer Wilson Limon, fresh from international fashion shows, and a 20-piece collection from well-loved designer Paul Cabral, known for dressing presidents and foreign dignitaries.

The Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group opened the event with a mesmerizing cultural performance showcasing the kulintang and other instruments alongside traditional dances from Southern Philippines, while musical icons Isay Alvarez and Robert Seña serenaded the crowd.

Multi-talented theater artist and director Banaue Miclat-Janssen and esteemed vocal ensemble Viva Voce added a classical touch, making this celebration truly unforgettable.

Ever the gracious host, Alice Samson celebrated her 72nd birthday in grand style at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club in Makati City despite a downpour.

Alongside her ever-supportive husband Raymond Samson and their lovely children Mighty and Margarita, the lovely celebrator welcomed family and friends to a sumptuous feast featuring several of chef Jessie Sincioco’s culinary delights including pan-fried lapu-lapu in tomato herb sauce with capers, grilled tiger prawns in Berlinoise sauce, US black angus roast beef au jus, and the crowd-favorite crispy lechon.

A special tribute from Raymond and a touching poem from Mighty filled the evening with emotion, while the ever-talented Dr. Bing Carrion penned her ode to the woman of the hour. Guests later danced into the wee hours, making it a gathering to remember.
