MANILA, Philippines — "Eat Bulaga" host Ryzza Mae Dizon is the latest celebrity to receive a tattoo from legendary mambabatok Apo Whang-Od.
Dizon shared photos on her Instagram account of her visit to Buscalan, Kalinga, where Whang-Od resides, earlier this week.
In one photo, Dizon shows off the three-dot pattern that Whang-Od put on her arm, while in another, she and Whang-Od both display finger hearts.
Among those who shared their excitement for Ryzza Mae were fellow "Eat Bulaga" hosts Maine Mendoza, Ryan Agoncillo and Sebastian "Baby Baste" Benedict, as well as beauty queen-turned-actress Maureen Wroblewitz.
Mendoza and another "Eat Bulaga" host Paolo Ballesteros have previously visited Whang-Od in Buscalan. Other celebrities also visited the celebrated mambabatok, including Rhian Ramos, Kim Atienza and Drew Arellano.
Because of Whang-Od's ripe age — she turned 107 last month — she can only do minimal dot patterns for people who come visit her.
Whang-Od, however, became a viral topic earlier this month when a video of her grabbing actor Piolo Pascual's private part during his recent visit up north made the rounds online.
The recent Presidential Medal of Merit recipient also touched Ballesteros, as seen on Mendoza's Instagram account back in 2019.
