Mercury and Uranus throw an element of surprise into the mix. Don’ hold too tightly to the plan, as it’s going to change. Chalk it up to life having a bigger and better idea for you than you had for yourself. There’s no room for modesty with all of these Leo planets inflating our egos. If you’re going to do it, do it on a grand scale.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)
. In love, your inner voice is your best friend. Your significant other will benefit from your following this sixth sense because it is ethical, honest and quite brilliant in its approach. Tonight, silence is golden – it’s also sexy.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20).
Working for a quantifiable response is both ambitious and restricting. If you change how you try to reach your goals, you’ll automatically change your results. Think process and attitude instead of always working for the end product.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21).
There’s an added dramatic element to relationships. The afternoon bodes well for getting back together with someone from the past, at least temporarily. If not, trips down memory lane will give closure to lingering feelings.

CANCER (June 22-July 22).
Ambiguous relationships become more defined as the stars point out your emotional needs. Tackle what you’ve been putting off. When you know what you really want, it’s much easier to get it.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22).
Decide! Indecision will hurt you. A change in your living arrangement frees up your energy to be creative. Your job takes up much of your time, but there’s energy left for a fulfilling personal life if you make it a priority.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (August 21).
Outstanding events make this year one to remember. First, you make some birthday wishes that will change your life by the end of September. August is ideal for pursuing a new area of work – you’ll get an immediate income boost. Singles meet eligible partners now or at the end of October. Your best signs for love are Taurus and Capricorn. Your lucky numbers are: 36, 14, 21, 33 and 39.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22).
New couples see a rare side of one another. Howling like a wild creature is favored; expect friends and strangers to join in. The bizarre way that paths cross is the theme of many a conversation.

LIBRA (Sept.23-Oct.23).
Image comes into play. You’re beautiful the way you are, so stop dreaming about being the next subject for Extreme Makeover. Instead, a few stylish extras will handle your desire for a fresh look.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)
. Remember you accomplishments instead of downplaying them. New ideas come into your world, and you shouldn’t expect to take them on without a degree of discomfort. Experiment with stress-relieving techniques.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21).
No one likes to admit to being wrong, but just get it over with. You’re a courageous soul, and you’ll get the rewards that brave people get. Your best love signs are Leo and Aries, and your sex appeal is turned up tonight.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19).
Ambitious aims are favored. You make the most of an opportunity and shine in the eyes of someone who has the power to help you. Young people find mentors. Be wary of those who can’t get along with your friends.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18).
You’ve got the gift of foresight and can look into the future with great accuracy. So do some planning. You’re most gifted at making financial projections. If others gloss over details, ask questions.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20).
Exhausting physical work is just the kind of diversion you need right now. The new boss gives raises in the next few days, so be the first in line to ask. Return calls this evening – your friends are starting to worry!

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS:
"I’m a Leo who still loves my ex, and I want him to know this. He broke up with me several months ago and said that he wants me to find someone better than him. He’s two years younger than I am, he didn’t go to college, and he’s always between the jobs. I’m 23 years old and a CPA. I really want him back. Do you think I should get in touch with him and tell him how I feel? He’s a Scorpio."

If you were to get in touch with him, you would learn that he’s living with someone else. Usually, men are so crazy about you, Leo lady, that it’s very difficult to wrap your head around the concept that a guy might actually not be. So you lie to yourself by believing lines like "it’s not you; it’s me" and its self-depreciating equivalent "I’m not good enough for you." The truth is, he found someone else. So go through all of the stages of grieving (which Leo can do faster than anyone else – in fact, you’ll read this today, and by this time next week, you’ll already be open to new love), and get yourself back in the dating groove. There’s someone connected to your work who already has eyes for you.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
J.K. Rowling’s newest Harry Potter book has made her one of this year’s big winners in the world of publishing, entertainment and finance. Leo is the sign of children, so it makes perfect sense that the only book to top both children’s and adult’s best-seller lists at the same time was written by a bighearted Leo. This year, she could take on some young apprentice of her own.
