Some of us have been overaggressive during the past few weeks; blame the Scorpio Mars influence and wave goodbye to it, because as Mars shifts into Sagittarius, where he behaves much better, we’re going to find ourselves overdoing activities in much more forgivable ways, such as exercising too hard or aiming too high in career ambitions.

ARIES
(March 21-April 19). Powerful friendships can really take you far now; get in touch with old friends who have "made it." Take a course to satisfy self-improvement urges; it’s easier to be patient with present limitations. Socialize to strengthen your self-esteem.

TAURUS
(April 20-May 20). Perhaps you are most content on days like today, when routines go smoothly, and you are productive and peaceful. Meditate on recent marital difficulties. Perhaps there’s a way to accommodate without giving up freedom.

GEMINI
(May 21-June 21). The course of true love runs more smoothly now, although trust is not entirely reestablished. Shop for children’s clothes, or dress up mannequins to feed the creative side of you. Remember, do anything to improve your skills.

CANCER
(June 22-July 22). Trouble is on your mind; quit worrying about your parents or those you care for. They’re stronger and more resourceful than you think. It’s a perfect day to bake or cook to express your love. Sagittarians still have what you need.

LEO
(July 23-Aug. 22). Influencing others is your specialty – use your charms to guide children to achieving better manners, and use your diligence to set an example for your peers. Someone nearby is romantically interested, but he or she will not speak up soon.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (February 13)
. Your private side needs respect this year. Set aside regular time for meditation or "quiet time," and don’t get talked out of it because wonderful ideas, solutions to problems and psychic insights will come during these hours of solitude, providing joy and strength. You’re opening up to deeper realms of the self; groups and classes expedite and support growth. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 17, 25, 19 and 32.

VIRGO
(Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Your influence over others is strong. The boss may depend on you to take charge in changing times. Neighbors turn you on to new sources of income. Listen to the grapevine for a job opportunity and/or shopping tips.

LIBRA
(Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Romantic adventures sweep you up when you least expect it. A Pisces or Capricorn is especially sexy in your eyes, and he or she will respect your wishes, too. Reorganize your office, especially your desk, to prevent foul-ups.

SCORPIO
(Oct. 24-Nov. 21). No need to worry about finance and job matters. No matter what happens, you’ll land on your feet and move on to better things. If you’re feeling insecure, you may become overpossessive with those you hold close to your heart.

SAGITTARIUS
(Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Love is right in front of you, and it’s probably another Sagittarius, a fellow independent traveler. You have made commitments recently, and now you are having second thoughts. Ask for advice; talk it out with a professional.

CAPRICORN
(Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Providing a special service not in your job description is sometimes a shortcut to the top; become indispensable. The evening is filled with family members who want to seek your attention. Bask in the glow of home fires.

AQUARIUS
(Jan. 20-Feb. 18). A friend becomes your romantic partner, and maybe later it will turn right back into friendship again. A leadership challenge continues. A personal improvement program takes you toward your career goals. Knock down conventional walls.

PISCES
(Feb. 19-March 20). Not everyone can be pleased about your decision, or see your point. Let it go, and don’t withdraw into your dream world, but firmly stand your ground, smile and be pleasant. You’ll win in the long run, as usual. Grab a pal and work out.

ROMANCE IN THE MILLENNIUM FOR CANCER, LEO AND VIRGO:
Our new-age gurus tell us that consciousness is advancing, bringing new maturity to the human race in the age of Aquarius. The new Cancer: Being a conservative pillar of society in the world and a control freak at home is no longer necessary for the new Cancer, who knows that stomach ulcers can come from hanging on too tight to what you think security means. The new Cancer embraces the concept of freedom, knowing that having love within one’s heart is true security. And the whole world is drawn to the pure, unconditional love that a new Cancer boundlessly provides. The new Leo: The Leo partner is learning fast that center stage, where all eyes turn to, must be used to show how to provide for the good of all. To remain at the center of his or her mate’s heart, the new Leo constantly grows in consciousness of the needs of that mate, because the new Leo knows that the best leader is the humblest servant. The new Virgo: Virgo has foregone criticism, which was just an outlet for anger that came from feeling unappreciated and taken advantage of. The new Virgo has learned now important it is to find the good around you, and to bring out that good in other people, too.

CELEBRITY PROFILES:
Peter Gabriel has the planets Venus and Jupiter in Aquarius, along with his sun, where many musicians are born. Jupiter’s overriding influence provides the endurance needed for a rock guitar player to make it all the way along the road to greatness. Clearly, Gabriel’s early life was made very difficult by someone near who tried to dominate and manipulate him. He has great strength in his personality.
