Forecast

An easterly wave prevails over southern Visayas and Mindanao, while the tail-end of a cold front affects northeastern Luzon. Northeastern Luzon will be mostly cloudy with scattered light rains, while southern Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, becoming widespread rains over southern Mindanao.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain­showers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, except during thunderstorms.

Temperature forecasts: Metro Manila, 24-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 15-26; Tagaytay City, 22-30; Subic, Clark zone and lahar areas, 23-34; Metro Cebu and Metro Davao, 24-32; and Cagayan de Oro, 23-32.
