MANILA, Philippines — Philip Morris Philippines has earned its first Great Place To Work certification, recognizing its efforts to build a workplace focused on trust, inclusivity, teamwork and employee growth.

The certification covers PMFTC Inc. and PMI Business Solutions (Philippines) Inc. (PMIBS).

Joe Gruber, PMFTC’s Head of People & Culture, said the recognition reflects the employees’ trust and commitment to the company.

“Earning this certification for the first time is especially meaningful because it comes directly from the voices of our employees,” Gruber said.

He added that the company’s employees play a key role in its push toward a smoke-free future.

Great Place To Work said the certification is based on employee feedback and recognizes companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace culture and employee experience.

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place To Work, said the certification reflects the company’s efforts to provide a positive workplace environment for its employees.

The Philippine certification adds to the Great Place To Work recognitions received by PMI affiliates in other countries.

For 2025-2026, six PMI affiliates across Latin America, Asia and Europe earned the certification.

Philip Morris Philippines said the recognition reinforces its commitment to investing in its employees as it continues its smoke-free transformation.
