MANILA, Philippines — Abandoned children and women victims of abuse received early Christmas presents from President Marcos yesterday.

The President distributed gifts to residents of the Marillac Hills-National Training School for Girls (NTSG) and Haven for Women in Muntinlupa City and the Manila Boys Town Complex in Marikina City.

The NTSG is a residential care facility catering to minor girls aged seven to 17, who are children in conflict with the law and victim-survivors of sexual abuse and human trafficking.

The President handed over 20 sacks of 50-kilo rice to Marillac Hills and 10 sacks for the Haven for Women. He also distributed food packs, medicines, vitamins, toiletries and infant supplies.

The President also distributed gift packs to residents of the Manila Boys Town Complex, an institution that provides care and support to children and senior citizens in street situations in Manila.
