Palace names new appointees

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang yesterday announced new appointments in the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), finance and public works departments as well as the Public Attorney’s Office.

President Marcos named Michael Villafranca as public works assistant secretary and Vanessa Villanueva as public works director IV.

Catherine Lopez was appointed finance department director III.

Juan Corpuz Jr. was designated acting member of the MWSS board of trustees.

Premier Castro and Mariam Mautante were appointed regional public attorneys.
