DZRJ asks candidates the hard questions

The big kick-off at 6 p.m. will stream on the TV and radio stations of the RJ Group and on the Facebook and Youtube platforms of dzRJ and The STAR.

MANILA, Philippines — DZRJ 810 AM and RJ TV, in partnership with The Philippine STAR, launch “Straight From Radyo Bandido,” a series of one-on-one interviews with candidates starting today.

The big kick-off at 6 p.m. will stream on the TV and radio stations of the RJ Group and on the Facebook and Youtube platforms of dzRJ and The STAR.

First to be interviewed in the series is Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who was asked burning questions including: “Are you committed not to declare martial law if you become president?” The candidate was also asked if he would tap the opposition to join his government should he become president.

DZRJ Radyo Bandido is the multi-awarded radio station that was the voice of democracy during the EDSA revolution in 1986. It has won two awards for its contribution both to EDSA 1 and EDSA 2. It is also the official correspondent of Voice of America and the British Broadcasting Corp.

The Philippine STAR is partnering exclusively with DZRJ Radyo Bandido to feature the series hosted by Bea Jacinto with co-host Ricky Alegre.
