MANILA, Philippines - Three possible presidential candidates – Vice President Jejomar Binay, Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas and Sen. Grace Poe – attended a prayer service led by Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle at the Archdiocese of Manila last night.
A source from the Catholic Church was quick to point out that the meeting was just “a prayer service and recollection” organized by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).
PPCRV national chairman Henrietta de Villa did not answer calls or text messages on details of the event from reporters.
Reports said the three possible presidential bets started arriving between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
