"I think that deserves an investigation," PNP spokesperson Chief Superintendent Generoso Cerbo Jr. said in a press conference on Monday.

Cerbo added that the National Capital Region Police Office is already looking into the case.

When asked about cleaning guns, Cerbo noted that gun handlers are expected to unload the bullets first.

"Syempre pinaka-general dyan na see to it na hindi ito puputok," Cerbo added.

The Cavite vice governor went under operation last Sunday to remove blood from his lungs.

Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., the father of Jolo, filed a motion with the Sandiganbayan on Monday to allow him to visit his son in the hospital.

The senator is currently detained at the PNP Custodial Center for graft and plunder charges in connection with the alleged P10 billion pork barrel scam.
