MANILA, Philippines (Xinhua) - Fifteen people were confirmed killed and 29 others were injured after a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine in northern Philippines this morning, a police official said.
Supt. Davy Vicente Limmong, spokesman of the Cordillera regional police office, said the bus lost control as it was traveling along Talubin village, Bontoc town in Mt. Province.
The passenger bus came from Manila and was on its way to the Bontoc town proper.
Police said the victims were brought to a nearby hospital.
