MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang is trying to squeeze in a possible meeting between President Arroyo and former US Vice President Al Gore tomorrow.
Gore, an environment advocate, is scheduled to deliver an Asian version of his critically acclaimed documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City tomorrow.
“I believe there is a very good chance for President Arroyo to meet with former US Vice President Al Gore on June 8 considering that the President anyway is scheduled to leave for China late in the afternoon,” deputy presidential spokesman Rogelio Peyuan said.
“I think there will be a very good chance that they will meet at the venue,” he said.
