Most exciting lotto draw held tonight

MANILA, Philippines - The most exciting and most anticipated online lottery game which carries the biggest jackpot prize estimated to be in the vicinity of P340 million to P350 million will be drawn tonight, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

Conrado Zabella, PCSO assistant general manager, said the lotto frenzy is expected to increase the agency’s charity fund, which is used to help the poor and the needy in various parts of the country.

“We wish everyone the best of luck. Let’s pray good fortune smiles on us and make us winners,” Zabella said.

The PCSO official, however, clarified that at this point when sales are soaring, it is the beneficiaries of the charity projects that are the actual winners of tonight’s draw.

“For us in the agency, the winners are the many people we will be able to help in terms of medical and health services because this jackpot has significantly increased our charity fund,” he said.

Zabella also said that tonight’s draw is historic because it is the biggest jackpot prize since the online lottery game was launched in 1995.

“It is historic in the sense that it will be the first jackpot to surpass the P300-million mark,” he said.
