Archdiocese orders second collection for missionary support

MANILA, Philippines — The Archdiocese of Manila has directed all parish priests to initiate a second collection during mass to support Filipino missionaries and the formation of the clergy.

In Circular 2025-50, Archdiocese of Manila Chancellor Isidro Marinay said the second collection will also help fund St. John Marie Vianney.

“We request that you encourage your parishioners to generously contribute to the said collections as an expression of support to our Filipino missionaries and the formation of the clergy,” Marinay said.

The second collections will be conducted on July 26 and 27 and on Aug. 2 and 3.
