Sharon Cuneta flexes her senior citizen card

MANILA, Philippines — “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta happily announced that she has received her senior citizen card.
In her Instagram post, it can be seen that the issue date of the senior citizen card she shared was January 2026.
"Heto na siya!!! (Siempre inalis ko ibang info, pero ito na Senior Card ko!!!) Hahahaha!!! Yahooo!!!!" Sharon captioned the post.
"AGING, MY FRIENDS, IS A PRIVILEGE!!! Thank You, Lord!" she added.
Celebrities such as her daughter KC Concepcion, Carmi Martin and Ogie Alcasid, to name a few, commented on Sharon's post.
"Join the club. Tara watch na tayo movies on Mondays," Carmi commented.
"Grabe! Level up na!!!" KC commented.
The senior citizen card in the country, pursuant to Republic Act (RA) 9994, provides a 20% discount and Value-Added Tax (VAT) exemption on certain goods and services for seniors.
These include medicine, consultations, laboratory tests, fares, dining, hotels, movie theaters and some entertainment services.
Applicants for the card must be 60 years old and above, Filipino citizens, and residents of the barangay where the card is obtained.
