Young 'Harry Potter' fan meets J.K. Rowling in Palawan

MANILA, Philippines — A young “Harry Potter” fan had a time of her life when she met the book's author J.K. Rowling in Puerto Princesa Airport, Palawan.
Angie Formaliza posted on her Facebook account photos of her daughter Sky, taking an autograph from J.K.
"Sky has probably read the entire Harry Potter Series more than our fingers could count. She's basically a walking Harry Potter encyclopedia by this time," Angie wrote.
"For two consecutive Christmases, Harry Potter-themed items were always part of her wish list. So imagine how blessed she was to actually meet in person no other than the author of Harry Potter herself, J.K. Rowling.
"It was truly a dream come true for my bookworm ate. I'm so happy for you ate Sophia Sky Formaliza. Keep conquering your dreams my love."
The post, however, did not disclose the details of why JK is in Palawan.
The blockbuster movie "Harry Potter," based on J.K.'s book, will have a series available on HBO Max soon.
The franchise sees the eponymous Potter plucked from non-magical obscurity and thrust into a wizarding world in which he and his close friends Ron and Hermione battle against the forces of darkness.
Potter will be played by Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton will star as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout will take on the role of Ron Weasley.
Established stars will appear alongside them, with John Lithgow playing headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid
