Ruffa Gutierrez asks for prayers for dad Eddie's spinal procedure
MANILA, Philippines — Ruffa Gutierrez asks for help through prayers for her dad Eddie Gutierrez as the latter underwent a spinal procedure in Singapore.
The beauty queen-actress posted about Eddie’s health condition in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Please join us in prayer as our dad, Eddie Gutierrez, undergoes his first spinal procedure today in Singapore,” Ruffa wrote on Instagram on December 9.
Ruffa did not disclose further details but asked that people pray for her father to have a successful procedure and complete healing.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has been praying, supporting, and standing with us through this difficult journey. Your prayers, generosity, and kindness mean more to us than words can express,” Ruffa wrote.
In 2021, the actor went through a procedure that cleared him of prostate cancer.
In 2023, Eddie had a similar health-related procedure when he underwent a cataract surgery.
