MANILA, Philippines — Broadcast journalist Atom Araullo has confirmed rumors of his long-term girlfriend, revealing that they have had talks on marriage.

Atom sat down with Boy Abunda for the latter’s afternoon showbiz show aired last Friday, November 28.

Boy asked if he was in a relationship, and Atom confirmed but did not name the personality.

“Matagal na. How many years? See — We don’t even count. It’s been a while,” Atom replied.

“She is public. I think people know. People on social media know. They see us outside,” Atom added.

In the show’s Fast Talk segment, Atom confirmed that he was taken and that he fell in love with a co-worker. He is also ready to settle down.

Atom also shared that talks about marriage have been explored between him and his girlfriend.

“That’s always in someone’s mind when they’re in a serious relationship. So, definitely, it’s something that you think about. Something that you’re ready for. I’m not setting a deadline or timeline for it,” he said.

Atom has been rumored to be in a relationship with fellow broadcast journalist Zen Hernandez. Their relationship is rumored to have bloomed while they were still both in ABS-CBN. Atom left the network in 2017 and immediately joined GMA-7.

Dating rumors between the two fueled even more in 2022 when Atom posted their photos together for Zen’s 41st birthday.
