MANILA, Philippines — Actress Anya Taylor-Joy made a surprise appearance at the world premiere of "Dune: Part Two" in London, United Kingdom, confirming her participation in the highly-anticipated movie.
Anya walked the sandy red carpet wearing a white outfit and a shroud that only revealed her face to accompany the cast of the film and its director Denis Villeneuve.

Numerous media outlets further confirmed that Anya is playing a major character in the continued adaptation of Frank Herbert's novel. Villeneuve said the production had trouble keeping Anya's role a secret.
"This is a dream come true," said the award-winning actress. "The books are incredible, but with this cast and with Denis, it doesn't get any better than that."
The actress also praised the film as the best she's "ever seen in her life" and that the director "killed it."
She joins the list of newcomers to the cast, which already includes Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub and Christopher Walken.
Returning from the first "Dune," which won six Oscars, are Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Tim Blake Nelson, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem.
The sequel follows Timothee's Paul as he rallies the Fremen of Arrakis for revenge against House Harkonnen for the fall of the Atreides family.
Apart from "Dune: Part Two," Anya is set to to play the titular role in "Furiosa," a spin-off prequel of the 2015 film "Mad Max: Fury Road," directed by George Miller.
"Dune: Part Two" releases in Philippine cinemas on February 28.
