MANILA, Philippines — Former child star Jiro Manio sold his Best Actor trophy to Boss Toyo's "Pinoy Pawnstars" for P75,000.
Currently working as volunteer counselor in Department of Health's (DOH) Treatment and Rehabilitation Center-Bataan, Jiro let go of his Gawad Urian Best Actor Trophy for the drama movie "Magnifico."
Jiro first tried to sell his trophy for P500,000, but Toyo offered P50,000.
They both agreed for P75,000.
'Yun lang, maraming salamat po,” Jiro said at the end of the video.
Apart from Jiro’s trophy, Boss Toyo also bought Salbakutah’s trophy of being the Best Song for 2022 for “S2pid Luv,” Long Mejia’s Best Actor trophy, “Bagkasan” polo of Chito Miranda, Francis Magalona and Gloc-9, to name a few. —Video from Boss Toyo Production
