‘Indecent proposals? I just ignore them!’
After that unpleasant incident that, well, “exposed” him on social media, Jeric Gonzales has taken to heart the “Think before you click” reminder.
A Nursing graduate (taking the board exams has been put on hold) from Calamba Doctors’ College in his hometown in Calamba, Laguna, Jeric was a Ginoong Laguna second runner-up in 2012 before he joined the GMA talent search Protégé and finished the Ultimate Male Protege along with Thea Tolentino, his female counterpart.
Jeric is in the cast of the Kapuso soap Ika-5 Utos, directed by Laurice Guillen, as the son of Jean Garcia.
A Leo (Aug. 7, 1992), Jeric stands 5’10”; weighs 154 lbs.; and wears medium-sized shirt and briefs and size-9 shoes.
Do you follow a specialized diet?
“Not really. I just follow a low-carbs, high-protein and high-fiber diet. I have stopped eating pork. I’m more into chicken and fish. If ever, lean meat lang, white meat.”
What’s usually for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks?
“For breakfast, hindi nawawala ang egg. I love eggs, especially sunny-side up and omelets. And, of course, coffee. For lunch, brown rice and fish. For snacks, only brewed coffee. For dinner, usually eat chicken and vegetables.”
How much water do you take per day?
“I take around 2.5 liters per day. But if I have a pictorial, only two liters a day kasi malakas magpa-bulk ang water at magpa- bloat so dapat less water para hindi mukhang mataba.”
What vitamins (or supplements) are you taking?
“Vitamin C and B-Complex. No supplements.”
What workout do you do and how often?
“I always do whole-body workout. At the gym, I see to it na lahat ng parts dinadaanan ko. I usually concentrate on my abs, chest, shoulders and legs. I also do cardio exercises. I run, box and play basketball.”
Part of body that needs improvement?
“My abs and my chest. My legs are medyo okey na. I have large legs, shoulders and biceps so konting effort na lang.”
Part of body that is most vulnerable?
“My arm kasi palaging ginagamit at exposed. Malaki kasi arms ko.”
Favorite part(s) of your body?
“Shoulders, arms and legs.”
Favorite part of a girl’s body?
“The butt.”
What’s in a girl that turns you on, and off?
“Turns on, butt and chest. Turns off, ‘yung sobrang payat ng legs and malaki tiyan.”
How’s your love life?
“Wala po; no girlfriend. Career muna.”
And your sex life?
“Not that active, sakto lang.”
Do you have a nightlife?
“Almost zero. I’m more of a homebody.”
Have you ever received an indecent proposal and how did you deal with it?
“Yes naman, madami! I just ignore them. Puede sila humanga sa akin pero para mag-offer, ibang usapan na ‘yun. I believe na lahat ng bagay dapat pag-trabahuhan at paghirapan, at huwag idaan sa mga offer at bigay.”
How much sleep do you get per night?
“Six to eight hours. If I go beyond that, suwerte ‘yan!”
Favorite sleepwear?
“Boxers without underwear.”
Last thing that you do before going to sleep?
“Watch kung anu-anong videos, boxing, basketball. And then, pray siempre.”

First thing that you do as soon as you wake up?
“I yawn and stretch, then take a look around. Nag-mumuni-muni before I take my first cup of coffee.”
What’s your outlook in life (optimist, pessimist or worrier)?
“Optimist na may pagka-worrier din.”
How do you relax, cope with stress (music, movies or meditation)?
“Lahat ‘yan music, movies and meditation. I sing, play the guitar. I watch movies so I am learning while relaxing. I go to church and pray.”
Favorite city/hideaway?
“My favorite city is Baguio. I also love Tanauan, Batangas, and Quezon Province.”
Three women that you find sexy?
“Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe and Rhian Ramos.”
Using only body language, how would you make a girl know that you admire her?
“I will hold her hands, as simple as that. Or I will kiss her na sa lips agad, hehehe!!!”
