‘Car-Gel’ reunites in first teaser of ‘Exes Baggage’

MANILA, Philippines — From real to reel—former couple Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino have reunited in the teaser of their comeback film as a loveteam, “Exes Baggage.”

The love team dubbed by fans as “Car-Gel” is set to return in this 2018 romantic-comedy film directed by Dan Villegas. Its teaser was released on Saturday.

The teaser garnered over one million views within 24 hours.

Panganiban thanked the fans who watched their minute-long teaser which showed the first meeting of the two characters.

Car-Gel’s reunion film is anticipated as the former couple’s loveteam date backs to their childhood pairing in G-Mik days.

Villegas is the director of award-winning rom-com films “English Only Please,” “Walang Forever,” as well as other box office hits “The Breakup Playlist” and “How to be Yours” among others.

Exes Baggage is produced by Black Sheep, a film outfit under ABS-CBN films. — Rosette Adel
