WATCH: Is Paulo Avelino a 'manggogoyo' like Goyo?
MANILA, Philippines — What do actor Paulo Avelino and National Hero Gen. Gregorio “Goyo” del Pilar have in common?
Besides having good looks, both are rumored to be “manggogoyo” or “playboys.”
Philstar.com asked Paulo if this is true, and during a recent interview for his launch as Berocca endorser, he jested: “No way! Ako nga ‘yung laging iniiwan eh. Ako nga ‘yung pine-play. Hindi, joke lang!”
“I was never a playboy,” he stressed, “I never two-timed or anything. Hindi naman sa dahil tinataas ko ‘yung bangko ko, I really don’t find the sense in it.”
“You know, if you love someone, then be with them. If you’re single, yes, you can date around, but ‘wag naman to the point you date around when you’re with someone.”
Paulo admitted that he dated a Filipino-Australian model and actress KC Concepcion. He also has a son with fellow “Starstruck” member LJ Reyes.
